Pharmacogenomic Support print this page   email this page

pharmacogenomic supportScientists have employed the information from the human genome database to identify appropriate candidate genes whose expression may impact drug action or disease pathogenesis. This line of research has led pharmacogenomic studies in the development of a new generation of therapeutic products that are more efficacious and safer to a population of patients that can be defined by DNA-based diagnostic tests.

ACGT, Inc. will support your pharmacogenomic analysis, from study design to sample analysis, on the correlation between subjects' response to treatment and their genetic makeup. Our scientists will assist you in determining the most appropriate analysis plan, ranking and selecting candidate genes, and determining suitable markers on target genes to be analyzed. We will process the samples and conduct laboratory analysis such as SNP genotyping and sequencing. Our scientists will work with you in selecting suitable statistical analysis approaches and in interpreting the significance of the results.
